Michael is an innovator, educator and serial entrepreneur with a corporate governance, business, health, science and big data background.
Michael apprenticed in his father’s dental office as an early teen and earned an AB in Biology and Pre-Healing Arts from Franklin and Marshall College before entering a business career. He was a Sr. Manager at PwC for 5 years and is nationally recognized for launching the first credit bureau and credit score to include on-time rent payments. He was a frequently featured speaker at conferences sponsored by the Federal Reserve, FDIC, Treasury and other Agencies. His innovative work has had material economic and social impact and received recognition and endorsements from the Federal Reserve, NY State Banking Department and National Credit Union Association, as well as R&D and equity investments from IBM, Citigroup, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, Omidyar Network, Mayland Department of Economic Development, and grants from the Ford Foundation.

Dr. Feied is the former Chief Strategy Officer for the Microsoft Health Solutions Group and Professor of Emergency Medicine in the Georgetown University School of Medicine.
Dr. Feied is a Diplomate of the American Board of Emergency Medicine, as well as a fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians, the American Academy of Emergency Medicine, and the American College of Phlebology.

In 2005 his Federal Project ER One received an architectural design award of excellence from Modern Healthcare, and his informatics work was recognized by Microsoft with an award as Microsoft Physician of the Year.

Dr. Feied developed a unique practical software architecture (“Azyxxi”) for the rapid integration, organization, display, and mining of all data present in any medical setting in real time. Azyxxi was acquired by Microsoft Corporation in 2006 as the enterprise core of a new Health Solutions Group.

Dr. Feied has directed more than 100 technology projects and has lectured at the Harvard Graduate School of Design (EED) on technology and healthcare, and at the Harvard Business School on the role of informatics in the service of innovation and change.

Dr. Feied graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with an AB in Biophysics, and received his MD from the University of California, San Diego

David B. Goldstein

David brings over 30 years of manufacturing design and audio engineering experience to WhisperSom. He was also an habitual snorer and sleep apnea sufferer on the verge of “sleep divorce”.
Because of this condition he used his engineering expertise to develop a far more comfortable, accessible and functional alternative to snoring treatments and CPAP.
David is a results oriented, hands-on Manufacturing Process Engineer, Component Engineer, Regulatory Compliance Engineer, Senior Purchasing Agent, Materials Manager and Scheduler, and Electronics Technician. He brings unique skills and cross functional expertise that will benefit WhisperSom’s corporate manufacturing, testing, quality control, procurement, and design support infrastructure. David received an ASEE from Franklin Institute of Boston and graduated with a BSIE, Cum Laud from Northeastern University.

Glenn W. Hines is a Certified Management Accountant (CMA), and MBA. He has over 20 years of CFO experience in fast-growing, global, multi-site, private equity/VC-owned medical device manufacturing/distribution companies.

He is a goal-oriented, innovative business strategist with excellent communication skills, providing leadership and change management to all levels of the organization. He is a results-driven leader with significant accomplishments in strategic planning, developing financial strategies/performance metrics, internal controls, FP&A, IPOs, fundraising, pitching the company’s value proposition to investors, M&A, and working with the executive team on building world-class companies. He has raised over $80M from Family offices, High Net Worth Individuals, Private Equity Firms, and Venture Capital Firms.

Glenn earned his Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Finance from Arizona State University and an MBA in Accounting from Southern New Hampshire University.

He is also the Founder and Owner of Far End Gear – an innovator and marketer of stereo-to-mono single earbuds for runners, cyclists, and hearing impaired; Former VP Technology, SPT Media, LLC, a marketing and promotions company for the gaming industry; and co-Founder, former CTO and Board Observer, Pay Rent, Build Credit, Inc. Kevin attended Western Connecticut State University.

Joe Zack has been a C-level executive for +20 years, in several areas spanning biopharma to diagnostics. He has been very successful in the formation, transformation, and growth of several global companies, through capital formation of over $200MM.
Joe has built many high performing functional departments, at times “from scratch”. He has also been responsible for several successful product development initiatives, launching over a dozen products (some of them blockbusters in their time), and adding to top and bottom-line results with successful International Business development efforts spanning Europe, Asia, Africa, and South America.

Chairman of the American Sleep Apnea Association, Will is a patient advocate focused on the challenge of getting all undiagnosed apnea sufferers into treatment. He advocacy work mobilizes those touched by the disease, including medical device companies and victims.
Will’s resume includes co-author of the book Sleep or Die, chairman of the American Sleep Apnea Association, executive vice president of CNET, chief information officer of Gateway, consultant to Qualcomm, member of evangelism group at Apple, and consultant to cloud-based Internet startups. He is a graduate of Stanford University with a masters and bachelors in Management Sciences and Engineering.

Her past clients include national not-for-profit groups, several governmental organizations, a wide variety of small businesses, and several technology startups. She holds a BFA degree in Illustration / Graphic Design from the University of Central Missouri, as well as an MBA in Marketing from Missouri State University.

Dr. Stuart F. Quan, MD
Dr. Quan is the Gerald E. McGinnis Professor of Sleep Medicine at Harvard Medical School. In addition he serves as Senior Physician and Clinical Director of the Division of Sleep and Circadian Disorders at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. His current research activities focus on the epidemiology of sleep and sleep disorders, particularly sleep disordered breathing.
He is a graduate of the University of California, San Francisco School of Medicine. He did residency training in Internal Medicine at the University of Wisconsin, and fellowships in Critical Care Medicine and Pulmonary Medicine at the University of California, San Francisco and University of Arizona respectively.
In addition, he is Professor Emeritus of Medicine at the University of Arizona where he was Chief of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine, Associate Head of the Department of Medicine, Program Director of the GCRC and Director of the Sleep Disorders Center. He was the founding editor-in-chief of the Journal of Clinical Sleep Medicine (2004-2014) and is the initial recipient of an award for editorial excellence named in his honor. Dr. Quan also has served as the president of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine (1999-2000), been on the board of directors of the American Board of Sleep Medicine (1990-1996). a member of the Residency Review Committee for Internal Medicine of the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education; and chair of the Sleep Medicine examination committee for the American Board of Internal Medicine. Recently, he was a member of the Steering Committee that developed the new sleep scoring manual for the American Academy of Sleep Medicine and is currently the Editor of the Sleep and Health Education Program at Harvard Medical School’s Division of Sleep Medicine, Associate Editor of the Southwest Journal of Pulmonary and Critical Care and Deputy Editor of Sleep. He is the recipient of the Nathaniel Kleitman Distinguished Service and William C. Dement Academic Achievement Awards, both conferred by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine.

Dr. Patrick J Strollo, Jr., is a Professor of Medicine and Clinical and Translational Science in the Division of Pulmonary, Allergy, and Critical Care Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh. He is Vice Chair for Veterans Affairs in the UPMC Department of Medicine and Chief of Medicine and VP of the Medicine Service Line at the VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System.
Dr. Strollo received his undergraduate degree in Chemistry from Washington College, a Master’s Degree in Biomedical Science from Wagner University, and an MD from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences, F. Edward Hébert School of Medicine. He trained in Internal Medicine and Pulmonary/Critical Care at Wilford Hall USAF Medical Center San Antonio where he was the Chief of Medical Residents and subsequently faculty within the Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care. While on active duty he established the first comprehensive Sleep Center in the US Air Force. He rose to the rank of Lt Colonel and served as consultant to the US Air Force Surgeon General for Pulmonary Diseases/Sleep Disorders.
Dr. Strollo is currently a Professor of Medicine and Clinical and Translational Science Institute (CTSI) at the University of Pittsburgh and Director of the UPMC Sleep Medicine Center. He is Co-Director of the University of Pittsburgh CTSI Clinical and Translational Neuroscience Research Center. He has been a member on multiple workshops and steering committees within the American Thoracic Society, AASM, and NHLBI. He served as the president of the AASM in 2010-2011, and is the AASM physician representative to the American Medical Association (AMA) Physician Consortium for Performance Improvement (PCPI) and the AASM Alternate Delegate to the AMA House of Delegates. He is currently the Chair of the NHLBI Sleep Disorders Research Advisory Board and is a consultant to the National Football League Cardiovascular Health Committee.
Dr. Strollo is an internationally recognized authority in the field of sleep medicine, with a focus on new diagnostic strategies, management, and cardiovascular outcomes associated with sleep disordered breathing. His work has been supported by federal and state funding, private foundations, as well as industry and includes funding as Co-PI or Co-Investigator on multiple R-level grants and STTRs from the NIH. He has over 100 publications and more than 50 book chapters and invited papers. His recent work with upper airway stimulation for obstructive sleep apnea was published in the NEJM (Jan 2014) and recognized by the Clinical Research Forum as one of the top ten publications of 2015. In conjunction with his colleagues at the University of Pittsburgh Sleep Medicine Institute and the Pittsburgh CTSI, he developed a national sleep research network (SRN) and serves at its Chair. He is an Associate Editor for the Annals of the American Thoracic Society and previously acted as an Associate Editor for the American Journal of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine. He served as a member of the Francis B. Parker Foundation Council of Scientific Advisors from 2010 -2014.
Dr. Strollo has been very active as a teacher and mentor and is Co-Director on a T32 training program in sleep medicine and has mentored or co-mentored 27 post-doctoral fellows and junior faculty members. He served as a member of the American Board of Internal Medicine Pulmonary Disease Subspecialty Board as the sleep content expert from 2006 to 2012.
Dr. Strollo’s position as Vice Chair of Veterans Affairs at the University of Pittsburgh and Chief of Medicine at the VA will solidify the already close relationship that exists and provide synergy to further enhance the academic, clinical, and teaching missions of both institutions.

Dr. Handler currently serves as the Vice President of Digital Innovation for Baxter Health Care. He is board-certified in Emergency Medicine as well as Clinical Informatics and previously served as the Chief Deployment Architect at Microsoft’s Health Solutions Group.
He served as Chief Medical Information Officer at M*Modal and as Director of Development at Medstar Health’s National Institute for Medical Informatics. Dr. Handler was also Director of Emergency Medicine Research and Informatics at the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, and remains on faculty as an Adjunct Associate Professor there. He has over a decade of clinical experience in high volume, high acuity care and more than twenty years of experience in creating healthcare software and implementing solutions; is an award-winning lecturer and educator; published researcher; and entrepreneur.

Dr. Borelli is a board-certified diagnostic radiologist. He initiated development of the SleepHealth app with Apple and IBM Watson Health, is a Member of Apple speakers bureau, consultant to Apple (healthcare marketing), and Board Member at the American Sleep Apnea Association.
A. Joseph Borelli, Jr., MD is the founder, President, and Medical Director of 3T MRI at Belfair. Dr. Borelli also serves as one of two on-site exclusive sub-specialist physicians that oversees and interprets MRI scans at MRI at Belfair. He has personally supervised and interpreted over 100,000 MRI exams and over 10 million MRI images.
Dr. Borelli is a diplomat of the American Board of Radiology. Following undergraduate education at the University of Pennsylvania, he went on to earn his medical degree from Hahnemann University and received diagnostic radiology residency training at the University of Oklahoma. He earned his sub-specialty MRI fellowship training at the University of Pittsburgh under Emanuel Kanal, MD.
Recently, as Chair of the Committee on MRI Accreditation for the American College of Radiology, Dr. Borelli was responsible for developing the current, national MRI quality and patient safety standards, which have subsequently been adopted by Medicare.
