WhisperSom Corporation is developing a new treatment option for those who snore and/or have Sleep Apnea, whether Obstructive, Central, or Mixed.
As part of the development process we need to test the effectiveness of our newest software algorithms. Particularly, we are testing if they can accurately detect apneas and end them quickly, without awakening the user.
We also want to tune the detection and stimulus parameters of our software.

What we are using for testing at this time is referred to as a Proof-of-Concept (PoC) platform. In this case, we are using a computer with various sensors and a set of earphones or an earpiece.
We are seeking volunteers of any gender who are-
- Willing to be tethered to a computer during the night (a microphone and earpiece/earphones)
- Willing to wear a pulse oximeter. There is a picture of the test equipment below. (We will not take your picture.)
The test program lasts for 5 sequential nights.
Because we need to train volunteers on the use of the device they must live in the proximity of Groton, Massachusetts.
We are seeking volunteers who are comfortable with computers; are medically able; who have been diagnosed with some variant of Sleep Apnea; and have had their physician recommend the use of a CPAP (BiPAP, APAP). Please click here to read the medical warning and to complete the information form.
